Raquel was very upset to find that her upcoming birthday
did not make the headlines. The result was disastrous.
FOLLOW OUR ADVENTURES IN DEMLAND
We live amongst a tribal group known as the Dem who are located in the mountains of Southeast Asia. We are here to learn their language, translate the Bible into their language, and teach them about God. Remember when...
It was one year ago that I was one day overdue. My feet
looked extremely unnatural and felt ready to explode, and
I was desperate to feel anything remotely resembling a
contraction so we could rush to the hospital and finally have the baby.
Everything was ready, EXCEPT for Raquel.
This is one of the few pictures I have of myself while I was
pregnant. (and the only one of Dylan being pregnant:)

Weekend overview
Here is Raquel, caught red-handed ripping up
toilet paper and unfolding the washcloths.
Aunt Jenna does an excellent job of entertaining her niece.
Raquel likes to go fast and feel the wind blow.
Dylan, Derek, Nathan, Josh, Evan and Stefan- killing each other
mercilessly and having a wonderful time together:)
Sunday was a gorgeous day. Here, father and daughter enjoy the beautiful weather. We were waiting for Mom and Dad to come pick us up and go to the Fireside, where we saw Fiddler on the Roof (my favorite movie ever:) thanks Dad and Mom

Spring Blizzard...err...Break!
Last week was our 'spring break' so we had the week off of school. However, the conditions were not very spring like as we had 8 inches of snow on Wednesday, and the rest of the week the temps were in the 20's and 30's. In spite of the cold, we did manage to enjoy ourselves. We spent most of the time at my parents house, and, as you can see, Raquel had plenty of playmates.
Here is Raquel playing with her Grandpa Blaubach (who, by the way, is 48 years young today:) Happy Birthday Dad!!

Good Friday
When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride
See from his head, his hands, his feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did ever such love and sorrow meet
Or thorns compose so rich a crown
O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live
O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross
All who gather here by grace draw near and bless
Your name
Were the whole realm of nature mine
That were an offering far too small
Love so amazing, so divine
Demands my soul, my life, my all
On which the Prince of Glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride
See from his head, his hands, his feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did ever such love and sorrow meet
