This video is long, but I'm putting it up because I'm the the mom and I can:) (I even made it a little shorter than it was originally) Anyways, Lydia took this the other day, and I think it's hilarious because it is a very accurate portrayal of Raquel's entire life in the way she doesn't stay still for two seconds. Enjoy, if you have time:)

Dylan's Baptism
We had a beautiful day for a potluck and baptism at Pastor Jason and Amy's house. They kindly opened up their home to the 70+ people that came. Dylan wasn't thrilled about being the center of attention, but did a very nice job of giving his testimony of how God has worked in His life and drawn him to Himself. It was nice to visit with church family that we will not be seeing for much longer, and we also got to see the Ketcham family who will be going to Missouri with us.

Door County
This weekend our parents had joint custody of Raquel and we got to go camping at Peninsula State Park in Door County. We drove up on Fri. and stopped to pick cherries on the way.
All of the pictures of us together are taken by Dylan, hence the identical pose in each one:)
Ok, so while we were there we saw this guy who had a tail. We don't know why, but it was very strange. Dylan pretended to take a picture of me by a tree to get this exclusive shot.
Here is our campsite. On Fri. night Dylan cooked a delicious supper of chicken and mushrooms and then we went to a drive-in movie theatre and saw Ratatouille- it was ok, definitely not my favorite animated movie- I just can't connect too much with rats. That ended at 11pm so we didn't stay for POC 3 because we had already seen it.
On Sat. morning we went hiking around the park
Then in the afternoon we canoed to this island called Horseshoe island. On the way back Dylan tried fishing, but no such luck. So then we went in the the town of Fish Creek and and ate a the Summertime Restaurant. The owner had been to South Africa and brought back a BBQ rib sauce recipe. Dylan enjoyed them and said it reminded him of Spur sauce.
We had a wonderful time, but it was nice to get back on Sunday and see Raquel and take a nice shower:)
