FOLLOW OUR ADVENTURES IN DEMLAND

We live amongst a tribal group known as the Dem who are located in the mountains of Southeast Asia. We are here to learn their language, translate the Bible into their language, and teach them about God. Peek - a - boo

I guess they started giving Raquel assignments in the nursery

These are some of Raquel's favorite bread toppings. She has also added mayonaise (Cross & Blackwell of course:) and strawberry jam to her must haves. Usually she is happy to have them all a top one single piece of bread.

I thought we had lost these sun glasses, but we found them the other day in a coat pocket, and I'm so glad. I think they are hilarious - she looks completely ridiculous, but loves to wear them:)

"Maaamaa maaamaa where you mama?

Hieeeeee:):):):):)

Sick daze

Raquel and I have been spending a lot of quality time together since she was sick from the 17th to the 23rd. At first she just had a fever, but then she started to cough, so I took her to the doctor and discovered she had bronchitis. She's all better now and back to normal. Here are some pictures taken during her confinement:)
Oh and check out the new link on the left. My Uncle Mark and Aunt Amy are in China right now adopting their little boy, Zhi Wei and he's really cute!

She dumped my purse over, so I told her she had to put everything back, and this was the result. At least she tried:)

The Tyler girls were sick too, so they got to come over and play. We also went over there a few times.

Studies show that it is most helpful to use exactly 8 spoons when attempting to consume a container of yogurt

Where's Jenna?

This is what we heard over and over on our way back to MO on Sunday, mixed in with "Where's doggie? Where's doggie?"

Fun times

We are back in Missouri now, but here are pictures, in no particular order, of the remainder of our break. We had a wonderful time relaxing and hanging out with family, friends, and, of course, doggies:) We had two beautiful snows that didn't melt right away, so everything looked really pretty almost the whole time. (at least I thought so - Dylan wasn't as impressed:) I celebrated my 26th birthday - it was a very fun day that included shopping with my sisters, dinner and a movie with Dylan and a cake party afterwards:) We also, played a lot of Liverpool Rummy, watched the Packers beat the Seahawks, and put together a lovely puzzle:) It was a good break:)
