FOLLOW OUR ADVENTURES IN DEMLAND

We live amongst a tribal group known as the Dem who are located in the mountains of Southeast Asia. We are here to learn their language, translate the Bible into their language, and teach them about God. First Haircut!

This morning we went to Kid do's in Menomonee Falls for Raquel's first haircut! Aunt Jenna and Aunt Elise came for moral support and entertainment when needed:) It was a really nice place, and they did a great job.

Here goes!

I picked up some hair to show her what was happening and she said " Oh disgusting!"
The lady said that was the first time she's heard that reaction to a haircut:)

All done!

She got sprinkled with glitter:)

Had to try ou the pink car before we left:)

Little Lina

Yesterday we watched Lina for a little while in the afternoon. Raquel liked holding her, kissing her, and pointing out her eyes, nose, mouth and knees:)

She also likes to "wrap up" baby Lina, and she shared her monkey:)

Babies, Soccer and T-ball

Raquel met Lina for the first time last night, and not even one pinch!:)

Lina went to her first soccer game last night and watched her daddy, Uncle Dylan, and Uncle Ryan win their game!

Raquel and I have gone to a few of Elise's T-ball games this summer. Raquel is a wonderful cheerleader. Lots of enthusiam no matter what is going on:)

Elise goes home!
