We live amongst a tribal group known as the Dem who are located in the mountains of Southeast Asia. These are Raquel's school uniforms. The first one is for most days and the second is her sport uniform that she wears one day a week. They're not going to win any style prizes, but I think she's pretty stinkin' cute especially when she comes running to us when we pick her up from school every afternoon. She's started to ask us "How was school today Mommy and Daddy?" when we pick her up and when we leave each morning she says "Have fun at school today!"

Too cute!! It was fun talking last night. That is nice she is so concerned how your school is going.
yes, pretty stinkin' cute
She's such a cutie! i'm glad we don't have uniforms at our school. i think that might be the one thing that could make it worse... i wouldn't be nearly so cute in an orange and green batik button up.
This is so awesome - I love it. It is a bittersweet feeling, isn't it, to send them to school. Probably the hardest thing, and for you, compounded by the fact that you are in a foreign country! I will be praying for you guys, and for Raquel, that she will adjust GREAT - and keep rocking that sweet uniform.
