FOLLOW OUR ADVENTURES IN DEMLAND

We live amongst a tribal group known as the Dem who are located in the mountains of Southeast Asia. We are here to learn their language, translate the Bible into their language, and teach them about God. Pacitan! (again:)

Before Christmas, we headed down to the beach for three days. We took the mission van and Dylan drove the whole five hours through crazy traffic. Raquel was really good on the trip, and slept a lot of the way. Obviously there are no rules about car seats here:) However, we did learn about one rule of the road when Dylan got a ticket for passing someone on a solid line. I think that rule is enforced especially at lunch time:)
Raquel got over her fear of the waves and had a blast at the beach. She was begging us to go at 6 in the morning, and would have stayed all day if possible:)
Dylan got in some good surfing
We found this cool beach, but only got to stay for a little bit as it started raining soon after we got there. We'll have to go back next time:)
