Bali

A few months ago Tonya asked if we would like to meet her in Bali for a week on her way back to the States from China. I really had to convince Dylan that it might be fun to go to the beach and he finally agreed:)

The weather and the beach were gorgeous!

Gideon loved meeting Aunt Tonya:) and we could only pry Raquel away from her side for naps and to sleep at night


Besides the beach we also enjoyed eating food we don't normally get here. Fresh seafood and pizza were some favorites.

Calamity struck when Dylan's surf board snapped in two while surfing this reef.


This is near an old Hindu temple. There are dozens of monkeys running around stealing things from tourists - the one below is chewing on Raquel's shoe that he stole right off her foot. Thankfully someone was able to get it back for us.
